I’m about to run 10 miles.
I wouldn’t say I am looking forward to it but I’m also not terrified, which is good. Over the past two months I have run a lot more than I’ve ever run before. Well, since cross country in middle school but, I also haven’t exactly trained as much as I was ‘supposed’ to for this thing either. I didn’t follow that neat little calendar of runs that you can import into Google Calendar and there were some weeks I didn’t run at all. Oops, whatever, I’m cool with it.
I realized a few things.
1. I can totally do this. NBD. Just because I’m not in the same shape I was in in middle school (it’s funny to even type that) doesn’t mean I’m no longer a runner.
